Industrial Plan
In the definition and development of the industrial plan, the Group:
- started the realization of wind energy system and counts on starting, shortly, two more wind farms for an installed total power equal to 100 MW;
- is obtaining the authorization for a wind farm project on shore in Albania to an installed energy power capacity approximately equal to 500 MW;
- in various stages of authorization wind farm projects on shore in Italy to an installed energy power capacity equal to 640 MW;
- has in stages of authorization a wind farm project off shore in co-partnership with Enel S.p.A. in channel of Sicily to an power equal to 345 MW;
- work has begun on thermoelectric bio-combustible liquid plants to an installed total power equal to 45 MW;
- Awork has begun on thermoelectric biomass combustible plant to an installed power 10 MW;
- has in stages of authorization two thermoelectric combustible biomass system to an installed total power 20 MW;
- work has begun on a geothermoeletric plant to an installed power equal to 2,5 MW;
- has in stages of authorization solar system plants to an installed total power to 200 MW;
- has obtained the authorization for interconnecting direct current cable (merchant line) between Italy and Albania to a capacity of 500 MW and a tension of 400 kV;
- awaiting completion of authorization for interconnecting direct current cable (merchant line) between Italy and Tunisia to a capacity of 600 MW and a tension of 400 kV;
- acquired a thin film solar production line and is near the start of building the relevant establishment, in the industrial area of Casteltermini/Campofranco;
- acquired an disused industrial system (ex area Montedison Porto Empedocle) that will be reconverted partly for the realization of a hub for the storage of bio-combustible liquids and partly for the production of wind turbine generators, blades and relative towers of support;
- has obtained the concession and availability of 35.000 hectars in Ukraine to produce combustible biomass;
- in various stages of development of a wind farm on shore in Tunisia to an installed total power of 500 MW;
- in various stages of development three projects for on shore wind farms in Bulgaria for overall 300 MW;
- in various stages of development of a photovoltaic plant in Tunisia to an installed total power of 200 MW;
- in various stages of development different projects for photovoltaic plants in Sicily to an installed total power of 100 MW;
- in various stages of development of project for a thermoelectric combined-cycle (gas/steam) plant in Tunisia to an installed total power of 400 MW;
- is acquiring a project already authorized for a wind farm plant in Sicily to an installed total power of 90 MW;
- has in training the concession to the exploitation of 50.000 hectareas of land, for the production of combustible biomass, part in Monzambico and part in Ghana.
These operation allow the consolidation of the Group and reprsent an important step in the expansion strategy of the Company.
